MARK MILLER – IFRS GLOBAL LEAD, LEGERITY
Mark is a qualified accountant (ACA) with over 20 years of experience of finance change programs. He has been involved in multiple accounting and IFRS implementations and is the global lead at Legerity for IFRS9, 15, 16 and 17 programs.
JEAN REA – DIRECTOR OF ACTUARIAL SERVICES, KPMG
Jean is a qualified actuary and Director in KPMG’s Irish actuarial services practice and has over 13 years’ experience mainly in the non-life insurance industry. She has recently completed a MSc in Data Analytics from University College Dublin. She is involved in data analytics and “ActTech” propositions and projects locally and leads KPMG’s European and global reserve modernisation working groups. She is a member of various subcommittees of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland including ERM and Data Analytics.
Valerie has extensive experience in supporting insurance clients optimise their actuarial, risk and finance processes. Her recent work includes Programme Advisory Services for IFRS 17. Valerie, is the Managing Director of Dupro Advisory, a specialist financial services management consultancy that brings a fresh innovative take on traditional consultancy by including modern day tools and techniques within their toolkit to effect change..
Dublin born Mike has spent a 25+ year career working at the sharp end of finance, technology and media globally, based in Asia, the US and Europe. Mike founded ditto in 2008, an award-winning marketing, communication and business strategy practice dedicated to FinTech. In 2016, Mike co-founded RegTech Forum – the largest community of regulated firms, RegTech providers and investors in the market.
